When is the best time to visit the Seychelles?
The islands are warm all year, with sea temperatures that stay comfortable in every season. Travellers often prefer the calmer, drier spells around the changeover of the southeast and northwest trade winds — roughly April to May and October to November — when the water tends to be clear for snorkelling. Conditions vary by island and beach, so it is worth checking current forecasts close to your travel dates.
How do I get between Mahé, Praslin and La Digue?
Scheduled passenger ferries connect Mahé with Praslin, and Praslin with La Digue, and there are also short domestic flights between Mahé and Praslin. What is there to do beyond the beaches?
